The story is about a modern cinderella who dates a bear prince. Another bear for me and Tama. oh, bear..
Youtube once erased the audio T-T, hope they will give it back after the right dispute.

Revised Version of E.Philadelphicus Video

I made a video for the Erigeron Philadelphicus Leaves again.

I got bored and sick of the previous version, so I started all over again. I made it in 3 days or so…with all the knowledge I’ve gained through the process of video-compositing duty making. xD (uh-huh)

Anyway, the video-compositing one is DONE, DONE, DONE. I haven’t posted it in here yet, cause I still see some mistakes (uh) here and there in the video. May be I’ll post just the screencaps later.

Boni & Bear Base

Imagine. One day as you were sleeping, a bear from somewhere just wake you up. That bear is a cartoon (yes, it’s a cartoon bear) and moreover, the bear came alive from your bedcover. After all the shocks, he asked you to go with him on a trip in your bedcover to discover a mess you’ve made earlier in your bedcover. And now it’s your responsibility to save the bedcover from the mess!

so…this is the story of the video we made in the COMPOSITING study.

The technique we are using is the one used in THIS video. (click the ‘this’). It’s a making off of the ‘Who Framed Roger Rabbit’ movie in 1998. Dominantly, the actress will act in a cartoon world in the whole video. So, the hardwork will be the animation-making this time.

Then, before I blabber too much, here is the cartoon preview :]

These are the water-colour and the vectored version of the bear. We’re using the vectored version for the video of course.

And here are some environments made..

Too bad we still haven’t the white-screened video we took last friday..so we can’t start making the animation for now..these pictures is just some kind of prototype.

The 1st E.Philadelphicus Video + Concept

Erigeron Philadelphicus Video is a video I made for a studio (Komunikasi MM) task.
I decorated the leaves with some ‘swirlings’ to make this Erigeron looked like a ‘wayang’ or ‘batik’.

Furthermore, I composited it in, like, a traditional music.
(actually the song is ‘Nahala Yam Koong‘ from Suikoden II game OST) <= u can read my trivia for the song’s information.

The composition’s formations itself are inspired by a piece of ‘Kain Batik’ :]

So, this is the ‘wayang’ and ‘batik’ I imagine when I made this video.

I adopted 2 characteristics from this ‘wayang’ & ‘batik’ :

The Color Schemes (the choco-ism) and The Ornamental Style.

Asistency: Leaf Alternatives

So, last monday all of the 9 MM students bring the Leaf Silhouette alternatives to the class. (see previous post to see why we did these whole silhoutte things) =)

I really had no idea back then what kind of silhoutte is good for the task, so I made somethings like these ones.. ^^;

Please don’t laugh ^^; I felt strange myself for this. For your information, these ones have not been well-detailed yet (it’s not over yet *^*). I’m doing the detail version now, but I only do 2 of the 9 alternatives each.

Beside doing the detail, I’m learning the AE (After Effect) program too. This program will be used to compose all the leaf silhouettes. How will we make it? I guess you have to wait for the next post to see that. I’ll upload the beta videos I made in this blog later. (Yeah, I’ve made a Youtube account recently to upload it.. =3 )
